    Background RBER-IRStide is a recombinant protein kinase substrate, which contains Retinoblastoma-associated protein (RB1, Ser773 -Lys928), 11 Arg residues (ER) and a human IRS1 derived peptide HTDDGYMPMSPGVA (IRStide). RB1 is a key regulator of entry into cell division that acts as a tumor suppressor. RBER-IRStides have been purified in a multi-step process to ensure their usability for a broad spectrum of biochemical kinase assay technologies. It has primarily been developed and validated for application in radiometric protein kinase activity assays, but can also be used for ATP consumption or antibody-based assay procedures.
