Background |
SH3 Domain-Containing Kinase-Binding Protein 1 (SH3KBP1) contains 3 SH3 domains. SH3KBP1 is widely expressed in many tissues, it is also expressed in some cancer cell lines. SH3KBP1 plays a role in the regulation of endocytosis and lysosomal degradation of ligand-induced receptor tyrosine kinases. SH3KBP1 is involved in regulation of ligand-dependent endocytosis of the IgE receptor and in the regulation of cellular stress response via the MAPK pathways. SH3KBP1 is also required for the control of cell shape and migration. |
